Anyone with 18's will tell you that there is no way they have that much extra room. I have 17" wheels, and about 5-6 inches of clearance. 18" wheels bring that up to 5.5"-6.5". Meaning, you are required to 'drop' the suspension 4.5"-5.5". The wheel meanwhile, will have to go SOMEWHERE, that somewhere is inside the fender. I personally have 7/8" clearance between my fender and tire, and say 4-5" inside the wheel well (this is fronts btw). Under full articulation, 5" drop, 18" wheels, I wouldn't be surprised if the wheel started rubbing hard on the fender (not the lip even!) Oh, and(no offense) you are an idiot ricer if you think that 'slamming' is a good idea, or an intelligent sounding phrase. Stop being an idiot, break up with your Honda owning, underwear showing, spiked hair moron friends, start reading REAL car magazines (hint, if there are 'neons', underglow, or the word 'dubs' mentioned anywhere in the magazine, its not a real car magazine), pull up your pants, and get a life.
